Once again after October 2016 Rohingya is facing a massacre, but this time at a far greater scale from the Myanmar state. According to UN’s special rapporteur nearly 90,000 Rohingyans have already escaped to Bangladesh.
Thousands of more are making their way across the Naf river in extremely dangerous conditions arriving at the borders of Bangladesh completely exhausted and traumatised; having not eaten for days and surviving on rain or ground water.
MWF are already on the ground delivering Qurbani meat, we need you to further support the Rohingya campaign to provide basic necessities and lifesaving aid.
The Rohingyans have lived in Myanmar for centuries but they have been denied basic human rights and citizenship. The Myanmar state rejects to acknowledge the term ‘Rohingya’ and have burnt villages and killed Men, Women and children.
At the time when Muslims are celebrating Eid ul Adha around the world; the Rohingya Muslims are witnessing the sacrifices of their men, women, children and infants.
